Aquatecture is the combined talents of Erik Thiele and Richard Kozak. We champion a design process that blends the owners' desires, the site’s features, the home's architecture and the surrounding area into a beautiful, functional and lasting presentation. We challenge the typical choices of materials and their expressions, we provoke the dialog of innovation and we open the collective mind with unrestricted creativity.
Born in 1996, Aquatecture been recognized locally and nationally by the Western Pool and Spa Association and the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals for remarkable design and construction projects. We have consulted with various clients nationally and internationally on projects ranging in scope from small residential spas and pools to large commercial water parks.
Our approach to design is simple: The client's perceived and revealed desires, the spirit of the architecture (both existing and intended) and the context of the surrounding area. This criteria is essential to the successful expression of earth, structure, plantings and water in a controlled envirionment.
Our designs are developed and rendered in house and our projects are personally supervised by the principles of the company.
